Digital Cameras - tools for creating flower pictures

Kit and I have spent the last few weeks pouring over all the digital pics we shot with our particular digital cameras during 2005. A good AND a bad thing about the digital world is the rapid and I mean rapid accumulation of images, in our case, flower images. Thousand and thousands of them! And for the most part where do they end up? Nowhere or rather stuck in a filing system on your PC. Just sitting down to look through for old times sake is a daunting task. Aaaaahh! Too much information, give me a break!

Digital cameras are wonderful though if one has a purpose, a real purpose, something to work toward. Our focus is the royalty free stock photography library that we have just created on A Flower Gallery. We're adding more everyday.

It's glorious spring here in the Swartland. Glorious it is! So each day we grab our digital cameras and head out to capture a tiny bit of the beauty around. Man it's beautiful to stand in a field of daisies and look out over endless white and yellow to the mountains jagged, majestic in the distance. Old men gone to sleep many moons ago but still showing plenty of attitude in repose! In fact it's hard to keep focused on the job in hand - taking flower pictures.

And it doesn't cost a cent. It's a digital world and I love it. Digital cameras rule!
